I will not touch plastic

We should all pledge that we will not touch plastic from today.

Plastic items take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills.

Plastic bags we use in our everyday life take 10-1000 years to decompose, while plastic bottles can take 450 years or more.

So if each one says “I will not touch plastic” we will make our country much cleaner and better. more

Do we really think pledging is going to stop us from using plastic? Can we really avoid using plastic in the form electronic goods, can we really avoid using plastic in the form, household items, furniture, home interiors, stationary, toys, cloths, food packed in plastic? Fact of the matter is that our planet is surrounded by plastic more than natural gifts like clean air, trees and clean water. We as human being is on the verge of converting this greener planet into plastic planet and still we do not realize. Even the laptop currently I am using to reply to this post is belongs to ACER company which is made of plastic i exactly do not the percentage of plastic used and other metallic items in this laptop. So it is the human who has to replace the plastic completely and will have to start immediately and that too the complete ban on the use of plastic not on the selected products or goods. Until we do so there is no using taking pledge and shouting on in the social media as well on news channel for banning the plastic. Use of plastic is completely ban in Sikkim, UP and other states but even if you go to local vendor's like vegetable or fruit sellers they will immediately packed the item in easily available plastic. more
