How to get voter id card online

Step 1
– Log on to https://www.nvsp.in/
– Click on Apply online for registration of new voter/due to shifting from AC
Form 6 will open
– Fill the form either in Hindi, Englsh or Malayalam.
– One who has migrated from his/her Vidhan Sabha constituency to other location can also obtain his voter ID by filling Form 6

Step 2
– You will be asked to fill details like the name of your state, district, Vishan Sabha onstituency, name of one relative, date of birth etc.
– You will also asked to fill Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number of either of your neighbour or any person. EPIC number is mentioned just above the photo on voter identity card.

Step 3
– You will then upload your photo and proof of age and address.
– Then you will have to fill a declaration and submit the form.
– Once the form is processed, it will go to the related Booth Level Officer (BLO). After necessary verification, your voter id will be ready and delivered to you.
– You can track your application
– After submitting the form, you will be delivered with a reference id number. You can track the status of your application using this reference id number. more

Since year 2000 iI have applied for voter ID ten times, but, to my utter dismay, even today, I have not received the voter ID card. The one received by me carries of my neighboring building, with the name of my late father and stuck photograph of mine. Tell me , how our election Commission of India and their staff works.I lost my interest in obtaining voter election card because because of the careless handling of the public, by the responsible staff. more  
Knowingly or unknowingly all voter card having at least 1 wrong information. we must need to update our voter card with fresh document.

Due to some urgent need, I have given bribe to update my voter card. To my surprise, i got it in one week. more  
this is a very typical case of my parents aged 75 and 80.their name was there but i dont know how it got deleted.they had not shifted anywhere, in this house since 25 years.wish their name to be added.now what, they even hae their votres id for this address but the name is not their in the list.suggest. more  
for both my children as and when they reached 18 yrs i had applied for voter id card by taking them to the camps conducted by the govt for enrolling new voters, who attained 18 yrs. they had taken the photograph themselves, aadhar card for photo identity and address proof. nothing happened. then i went and submitted photograph and aadhar card again. nothing happened. then the staff appointed by the municipality came for verifying the voters list. they were also told about my children. they took all the information. but still nothing happened. looks like i have to file a case in court to get the childrens voters icard. then they say people are not taking interest, such a poor turn out for elections. mumbai registers only 40% or less. i think this department of the govt is the slackest department. they need not be employed at all. they don't pay 1% interest also in their job. fukkad mein khate hain. more
