How Corruption was happening in this Govt School

Deputy Chief Minister and Education minister Manish Sisodia yesterday conducted a surprise inspection of Rajinder Prasad Senior Secondary Sarvodaya School, President’s Estate.
During the inspection, it was found that fake bills had been raised in the name of providing practical training to students in the course of food production.

Purchase of many articles had also been shown in official records to deceive in the name of students.
However, it was found that no laboratory existed in the school for providing this training and the students told the minister that no practical training was ever imparted to them in this subject.
The education minister ordered immediate suspension of the school principal and termination of services of a guest teacher who used to prepare fake bills on behalf of the principal.
During the inspection, a blank bill book was recovered from the principal’s almirah, following which the case has been referred to the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) for registration of an FIR against the principal and the teacher involved.

Students studying food production told the minister they had virtually never been given any relevant information about the subject, but scrutiny of the bills showed that in the name of practicals, fake bills showing purchases of non-vegetarian food items, olive oil, potatoes, rice etc., were regularly raised.

What was further shocking was that bills were found to have been raised from shops in places like Seemapuri, Trilokpuri, Jahangirpuri for school situated in central Delhi.
There is no mention of the good purchased in the stock register of the school and no TIN (Taxpayer Identification Numbers) were mentioned.
During the inspection it was found that fake bills appeared to have been prepared in a hurry, in which the amount of purchases done against the quantity mentioned did not tally in many bills.
The inspection further revealed that account books of the school showed salary payments to five safai karamcharis, but it was found that only one karamchari was on duty, which was confirmed by teachers and students of the school.
The safai karamchari on duty told the minister that he was paid only half the amount of what he was asked to sign on papers.

The minister expressed shock at the statement of the principal in which he wanted the students views on practical classes to be ignored.
The minister was accompanied by senior officials of the department of education during the inspection, who seized the record of the school. more

Mr J Bhushan, Why dnt u tell Modi, instead of advising Deputy Chief Minister. Modi can provide @Rs 5000 per child, (a finger tip away for him) quite easily for tasty healthy & hygienic food for the children(particularly in respect to his "BEETI BACHAOO JUMLA"). U know very well, nothing can fetch for a mere Rs 5, when a cup of tea sells for Rs 7 at the most dirty pavement vendor. HOWEVER I CAN HELP U IN THIS ENDEAVOR. U HAVE A BIG LIST OF MODI'S SELF GLORIFICATION ADDS, TO CHOOSE FROM. THE CHOICE IS YOURS. U CAN GO AHEAD NOTHING WILL HAPPEN,AFTER ALL IT IS ALL POOR TAX PAYER'S MONEY. EARLIER CONGRESS HAS SUCKED BLOOD FROM THE POOR CITIZENS, NOW ITS BJP'S TURN....
Why Mr J N Gupta is so agitated, best known 2 him. What interest u have to defend the crime(who should b put behind the bar, to make it a deterrent 4 others) 4 what happened to Rajinder Prasad Senior Secondary Sarvodaya School, President’s Estate on surprise inspection by Dy CM. more
ERRATA: PL READ "IRREGULARITIES" INSTEAD OF "REGULARITIES" IN MY LAST BLOG. Thanks more
Mr J N Gupta, This is very good move by Dy CM to check corruption, & which have yielded result. Now I understand this is a tip of an iceberg. Large scale regularities exposed at Rajinder Prasad Senior Secondary Sarvodaya School, President’s Estate. During the inspection, it was found that fake bills had been raised in the name of providing practical training to students in the course of food production. Hats off to AAP Govt. I fail 2 understand why r u against this move to check corruption. R U afraid for any eventuality which is best known to u. However Mr J N Gupta, this cannot b reversed now nor by LG or HM. I firmly believe corruption will b eradicated completely from Delhi in 5 yrs, against all the odds. And Delhi will become a model city WHICH IS THE the dream of AK also. . more
While this is laudable we are now hearing about a possible scam in the SCERT ADMISSIONS where some Hundreds of Students have applied for the D.ETE / ECCE program under Multiple Categories - 'general' as well as 'SC/OBC/ST' - Does this mean they will have the category certificate made in event of a Slot ? Is Mr MANISH SISODIA Ji listening ?? more
