Hospitals should be moved from MCD to Delhi/Central Govt
Doctors at Hindu Rao Hospital are on strike because they Havent gotten pay from last 4 months. Their landlords asking them to vacate rooms, mess owners not giving them food, all other items of livelihood are dependent on the mercy of others. See pictures.
Why is MCD still running hospitals, Delhi Govt or Central Govt should take over or close them.

Whatever may be the difference between MCD/STATE/Center - Salary should not be stopped to any of the employee.

KAJRIWAL IS BENT UPON MAKING HIS TENURE AS CM AS WORST IN THE HISTORY. HE IS ALWAYS ON LOGGER HEADS WITH THE MCD FUNDING. MCD GETS FUNDS FROM CENTRAL GOVT VIA DELHI GOVENMENT. THIS METHOD SHOULD BE DONE AWAY WITH. MCD SHOULD GET FUNDS DIRECTLY FROM LG.

Yes, MCD hospitals should go to Delhi govt and certainly Delhi govt hospitals are comparatively better managed despite problems. I wonder why MCD has to run hospitals especially when it fails badly in its basic duty of performing sanitary, drains, parking related functions.

Status of Delhi Govt.Central Govt and MCD do not cooperate on political grounds.

Why to close? Rather we should emphasis, Govt. should take corrective measures to keep the hospitals fully operational and pay the salaries in time. Still Govt. hospitals serve much better than private hospitals with minimum cost. Govt. should extend an autonomy to the administration to run it smoothly. One should not expect everything good without adequate facilities. our health sector is still one of the worst among the developed & developing countries in terms of no. of Doctors & supporting staffs. No doubt, it needs huge investment and build infrastructure to keep it appropriately functioning. So no talk of closure, instead suggest measures to improve services and appointing doctors on regular basis, not on contractual.
