Hindustan Times Media - Takes common man for a ride..!!

On 30th April 2016 agent working for HT came to my house with offer of concessional price for their daily paper of HT. After pleading for half hour to take the subscription I got mercy with him and paid Rs799/- for 1 year HT subscription.
I paid the amount through ICICI bank and same cleared on 11-5-2016.
Since then I have not received any concessional coupon or any communication from the company.
So I wrote a letter to HT regarding the status of coupon they simply say coupon has been despatched and there was nobody at the residence to pick the parcel after multiple attempts.
It was a lie these people say as my house is occupied 24 hours and 3 persons available 24 hours to take the delivery.
It was mental torcher for us to write mails to HT for their incompetence and treat a common man as fools.
Still I was not recieved the coupon and I paid cash to vendor for June 16.
Will HT reply why your company treat common man like this as your representative pleaded with me to take the subscription.

I would like to share my experience. HT is interested only in collecting subscription but not in ensuring that you receive copy of newspaper daily and on time. So I discontinued paying subscription. more  
Who ever agent is contacting, you should take complete address & contact no. And for any lapses, catch them and lodge FIR for cheating. more
