Highs & Lows of Decisions of AAP

Its nice to see AAP take crucial decisions as per manifesto so soon. Its good to give relief to people with lower consumptions in terms of electricity & water. Its also wise to give compensation to those who die on duty to support their family. However I feel the distribution of free Autos is not a good idea. This freebies culture add to burden of tax payers. Economic weaker people should be supported with free loans to invest for earning their livelihood but they should earn & repay it back. Ultimately the balance sheet of government should also remain in good health without adding burden on tax payers. AAP should also look into tax structures on petrol & Dieasal as followed in GOA to see possiblity of rates reduction for same as that will benefit most users. more

Dear Members and Readers, I agree with Rajiv Goel on the progress made by AAP and Mr Arvind Kejriwal, the Chef Minister of Delhi. Generally speaking, to do good things you do not require a banner. But when you do something good to common man respecting banner of a party such as AAP, it is quite natural for other competing parties to find fault with the good intentions of the former. If AAP is fearless in supporting the common man, all straight forward citizens and who want positive change will support AAP. It is normal for not so uncommon men from other parties to oppose every move of AAP and prove the party wrong. What Nelson Mandela said are very true: "Lead the people from behind; let them feel they are leading the Nation". Probably Mr Kejriwal went one step ahead surrendering leadership in to the hands of common man of Delhi. Mr Mandela also said: "Do not see how many times I fell, but how many times got up after falling". This means one or two failures will only strengthen your resolve to do good things such as freeing the State and the Nation from corruption, the greatest and noblest of causes! When corruption is not there resources (including finances) will be available so much to make India one of the richest nations globally. My advice to AAP and people supporting AAP is "Go on doing good and correct things and do not wait for name, position and laurels for doing good things, because good results, appreciation, and rewards will chase the good-gooders when time comes. We should not waste time seeking rewards, then we lose that precious time to do more good work. A procession of good work done to appease common man will never be regarded as bribing them for votes, but a saga of good work to enhance the living standards of people and that is the true definition of a good democracy: a genuine effort to lift all people to reduce difference between rich and poor, educated and uneducated, as well as privileged and less privileged. I am glad that good things started happening in the new year and they should continue with the help and co-operation of like-minded and dynamic revolutionaries! Cheers to one and all! lateron on winning no confidence motion ,one should consider the benefit to tax payer.service class too.petrol and diesel price tax reduction goes long way in this direction. prices of vegetables shall be controlled .by taking whole sale review.since there is vast difference in whole sale and retail price. govt.shall ensure that any traders shall get online licence for shops, trade. one has to obtain licence for trade from mcd.but mcd make so much formality, middleman that to get licence by paying rs 500 -1000 annual fee one donot get licence and keep visiting officials and finally licence is not issued and lend to pay fixed annual money. such licence shall be given on door to door aand online for trade in shops.like auto licence made free it shall be open too more
secondly aap govt should make an effort for availability of generic medicine at all govt.hospital and make awareness drive of availability of medicines at different places. it should be compulsory for doctors to prescribe generic medicine atleast to begin with delhi govt.run hospitals, private practitioner and hospital run on govt, provided land. more
i also agree as kejriwal ji has said earlier tjat delhi govt levy of taxes in petrol and diesel led to increase in price of petrol and diesel.now he should by an administrative order in cabinet within 24 hours reduce 50 % taxes and bring down price.it will benefit people of all walk and help in reducing prices.alokspandey more
Yes Atul, any decision mus benefit all & not just a particular class. In both decisions, users with more usage are getting no benefit at all whereas they are the tax payers. The benefit for rate benefit in lower consumption slabs should be for all irrespetive of usage pattern. Manifesto was appriciated by all so why not give benefit to society as a whole. more
