Has India become cleaner in the last 5 years?

Thanks to all the members who actively participated in the 5 years of Swachh Bharat survey. We are pleased to share the full survey report with you below. While 72% of us believe our neighbourhood & city has become cleaner in the last 5 years, key areas that need action are linking cleanliness to hygiene, sanitation and public health. Also more needs to be done on civic sense awareness, single use plastic removal and engagement of municipalities. Do go through the survey and share widely with your state Chief Minister, Municipal Commissioner and social media networks

At a lower level they are not serious ,still a number of garbage dumping littering takes place due to shop keepers,Perry traders and careless owners. In colonies ervants, maids, drivers , workers dump indescriminately at all places the garbage ,about 25% owners are allowing their domestic helps to dump garbage as they like thus adding to the repeat of problems.Notices must be served after identifying by either individual complaints or cctv cameras . Stray animals are let loose to disturb the garbage sites in colonies. Still mixing of dry and wet garbage continue as thecollector is not keen to collect at door step separately ,This needs serious supervision. more
