Handling Omicron strategy of India

Latest UK data (attached) says 19% of deaths in unvaccinated, 81% of deaths in vaccinated. This is In a country with 70% vaccination rate.

This basically means that vaccination in UK did not save lives. We also now have Astrazeneca 2 dose data showing zero efficacy. This means 90% of Indias double dose vaccinated adults are vulnerable and with no Pfizer dose in sight we have no option but to live with Covid.

Shouldn’t this circle and the Govt be thinking about healthcare capacity, lockdowns and restrictions.

I mean come on we got slapped with 2nd wave, we dont want that to repeat. Do we? Wake up everyone. more

Strict self discipline of people, adhering to appropriate covid behaviour, vaccination will go in long way to win the battle against the pandemic. Let's us help the government by this approach. more
It is upto each individual to stay and play safe. There have been enough learnings over the past 2 years. No medicine can PREVENT any disease from recurring. more
I simply don't know why we are emulating UK and all other western countries. They will say anything for their own self motives, not for the world over. The Dr who 'discovered' the omicron herself said it's not at all dangerous and is not life threatening. But the countries who propagate it as a dangerous one sets their own agenda!. Are we all ready to go up to 7 to 8 vaccine by 2025? Where are we going? When political parties are funded with the income from loot they are happy too. It's a pity. I did not seek their permission to be born neither do I have to linger on their steps to die. Where are we going? more
it reveals indian vaccine are more effective then other country made, we should proud on our chain more
1. Pfizer jab is being administered in UK. What data do you have to prove Pfizer is effective against "Omicron" (assuming such a thing exists)? 2. As per most scientific literature, antibodies induced by all the jabs wane by 6 months. In reality, because these are surrogate markers, vaccine or no vaccine is not a cause for worry at all. 3. As per available research majority of mortality arose from people drastically low on Vitamin D + Aged + Comorbidities. There is no cause for worry for the rest as all this is nothing more than running nose, headache and fever (normal flu). 4. What use are the lockdowns? If the this so called virus travels in air from person to person, then somebody should have isolated it from a patient's breath, right? The fact that nobody did that means something?! more
