Hair on Face Remedy

Acalphya Indica, commonly known as Indian nettle, is a plant which is native to India. This medicinal herb has anthelmintic, antimicrobial, and wound-healing properties. It is a very good remedy for unwanted hair, gently permeating the skin and thinning the facial hair. Turmeric is added because of its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

You would need a handful of Indian nettle leaves and a tablespoon of turmeric powder.

Wash the leaves and grind them to make a paste out of it. Next, mix the turmeric powder to this paste. Apply this paste on the affected area and leave it on for a couple of hours before washing it off with normal water. It would be even better if you apply this paste in the night and wash it off the next morning. You have to repeat the process for 5-6 weeks and you would see the unwanted hair go away.

It would be good if you can test this paste on some hidden part of your skin so that you can be sure that your skin is not allergic of it. more

I tried to find out the local name of Acalypha indica Linn(botanical) and they are as follows: Hindi ... KHOKLI; Marathi ...Arittamanjarie; Sindhi...Kunkumiphal; Tamil....Kuppivaeni; Telugu.... Kuppichettu; Bangla ... Muktajari and Canarese...Kuppigide. more
Thanks a lot Rajani ji. Just a couple of clarifications. Facial hair for the female gender is the most unwanted hair. If the paste is applied on the face overnight or even for a couple of hours, will the turmeric leave a yellow mark on the skin.... as turmeric is a very deep acting dye too? Secondly if you could give out the regional language name of Indian nettle like Hindi, Telugu, or Tamil or any other language for all people to understand. Has this been tried by some people known to you and were the results as pronounced? more
Very useful for females and meaningful sharing. Good effort more
