GST rates for bikes and cars announced
(Jul 16, 2017 : The Times of India)
The state has come out with Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Two and three wheelers below 99cc will attract 10% GST, those in the category of 99.1cc to 299cc will be levied 11%, above 299cc will be have 12% GST.
In case of four wheelers, GST for vehicles with a cost of below Rs 10 lakh the taxation rate will be 11% and 13% for petrol and diesel, respectively . For cars in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, tax rate has been fixed at 12% and 14% for petrol and diesel, respectively . Those cars with price of above Rs 20 lakh will be at 13% and 15% for petrol and diesel respectively .
The idea of One Nation One Tax is thrown out of window by BJP led Maharashtra Government.
New GST rates of 11%, 13% and 15% introduced in addition to rates fixed by GST Council.

Dear Nation, As a common man among us Would like to share the my personnel experience After GST implementation.Since last month for my family survival expenses are as follows. 1) Food Grains , Tea/coffee,milk,essential cloths,Seasonal Umbrellas,petrol,Auto Rickshaw and bus fare etc. RS. 22600/- 2) Hotel lodging boarding bills rail tickets during our door stay is Rs. 12680/- 3) Toal TDS deducted for month June is Rs.12400/- All the above payments are legal and billed with GST. Now . How does the GST paid by me will credit to my account.IF not, what should my next step to claim. Any body can suggest me from our circle and obliged. The Maharashtra govt has cheated people by adding 2% state levy on vehicles. The objective of GST was to make tax structure simplified. But the babus believe if it is simple they will lose their job. So they try and bring in complications and confusion. allowing old gold to sell without GST means encouraging black market and smuggling. Curious are the ways of our Finance department
