GST Filing Platform
If GST Platform calculates interest and penalty then why it does allows User to add the interest & penalty option. Then, the overall amount becomes double the amount, GST Platform doesn't allow to make modifications later. I am been in the IT Industry for past 20 years, and hence feel lot more features, testing needs to be implemented before going LIVE and Customers cannot be punished for no fault of theirs.

You are right Mr. Ramamurthy. Lots of issues with GST portal. It appears software has been designed and executed by some novice. Worst of all, they don't respond to umpteen issues raised by users. Why should Government be so incompetent all the time?

Small traders are suffering a lot from the GST Portal. Many links are unavailable in dash board of each traders, So they may not be able to avail many facilities offered as per the Govt. press release / dead line , etc. one such example was that of option for Composition Scheme. Though the last date announced was 16 Aug.2017, many small traders could not opt for that who got migrated to GST due to non availability of link in their dash board till midnight of 16 th. Many small traders all over India had suffered from this. There was no reply from the GST's networks like help / donotreply,etc after informing them the difficulty faced by them due to non availability of link in their dash board. Requests from many states, it seems, were made to extend the date for option for composition highlighting the Portal problems and should not penalize the small traders for no fault of theirs. The GSt portal was really inoperative or not working properly during the 10 to 16 Midnight of Aug,2017. At 11.38 messages were getting stating that portal is ready with GSTR3B with direction to file it by 20 Aug 2017. Those who dream t of composition became helpless and there were no body to hear their difficulties and getting remedies for their problems. They were compelled to file GSTR3B though they did not collect GST from July 1 hoping that composition scheme can be opted. Whole plans failed.. Where to send /inform such happenings and who will help them. How can one interact with machine when there is no body to hear then are there to get remedial measures. No interaction with any authorized official is possible as no body knows who is the concerned official to interact with. Only help line numbers which is of no use as it is always engaged and if we got it unable to give clear direction or any clarifications of major issues. They can say about registration, filing of returns etc. Not more. Then how a trader can get out of his difficulties /problems. The writings can be read by us and can be liked or disliked.

GSTR1 ONLINE FORM is simple and easy to fill so that Taxpayer need not have know the details about the GST details about Integrated Tax, etc., but GSTR-3B form is not simple, and leads to lot of errors. GST is GREAT, but GST filing Platform is not a good software and needs lot of improvements to make it easy for Customer (Taxpayer) and Customer cannot be penalized with interest and penalty for 6 months till the Customers understands GST and GST Filing software is Finalized.

GST Remittance through bank is only through NEFT/RTGS and hence if registered on Friday after 6pm.. then we cannot make payment till Monday. Hope Govt won't penalize customer for this purpose. Otherwise they should enable IMPS also for submission of GST payments. Currently IMPS is not able for GST payment.

Even on 03.09.2017, B2B inward in GSTR-2 portal shows purchase from Delhi(07) to Haryana (06) as INTRA-State resulting in no option to fill IGST input tax ?? Helpline 0120-4888999 is unaware of any issue relating to GSTR-2 ?

useless people sitting in central govt. it is a administration failure. the govt with huge majority is doing like a coconut in hands of a monkey. without a proper preparation is made, with a command of one man is implemented. it is like American system, there is no democracy values.
