Govt cuts salaries; Private sector cuts will be brutal

Govt has frozen the dearness allowance to central government employees till July 2021 along with any kind of arrears (attached). With this even private sector will cut the salaries, no work no pay or retrenchment will start. It is difficult time for all. All must cooperate. more

This is a good step by Govt. in the present circumstances. All including private Sector should co-operate in the fight against COVID 19. more
Its a good step showing way forward to private sector not to reduce work force but freeze the salaries to move forward and once you cameback to Normal Situation i.e. out of current crisis increase in the salaries one can wait till then to Face the Situation to scarify for the Nation. Care should be taken Not to Misuse any National Fund nor the Misuse of Power. more
The recommendations to pay commission is done by bureaucrats, accepted by Bureaucrats & accepted by Govt. who for the sake of coming to Power or remaining in Power give more than that. This has resulted in Stenos-PA's Jumping to the rank of PS, PPS and to the Level of Jt.Secy in Parliament without passing any civil services exam. Is any body aware that a peon/ constable is getting more pay than any Manager/ Accountant in K.Bagh/ Conought Place/ Sadar Bazar/ Chawri Bazar markets or Pvt. ltd. Co's. Army gets spl allowances, Pilots- though meant for flying get Flying allowance, Doctors get Non Practising allowance. THE DEARNESS THOUGH EQUAL FOR BAND 1, II, III & IV BUT IS GIVEN IN PROPORTION TO PAY ie BY PERCENTAGE, WHEREAS TILL VTH PAY COMMISSION NEUTRALIZATION FOR PB-IV WAS 60%, FOR PB-III IT WAS 75% BUT 6TH COMMISSION REVISED 14000/- TO 37,500/- (2.6 TIMES)AND AGAIN 7TH PAY COMMISSION AGAIN RAISED IT BY 2.57 TIMES, RESULTING IN 7 FOLD INCREASE OF 2005 SALARY. THE RISE OF 4% IN DA AMOUNTS ARROUND Rs. 10000/-, WHICH IN MARKET MAY HARDLY BE SALARY OF MANAGERS. DA AMOUNT SHOULD BE EQUAL FOR ALL OR FIXED FOR VARIOUS PAY BANDS INSTEAD OF PERCENTAGE. more
This is not a cut but freezing of the salaries- the Govt. also needs resources which are to be used for greater benefit of people of all hues in the present circumstances - so I say it is good step showing way forward to private sector as well - do not reduce work force but freeze the salaries to move forward and once you stabilize after coming out of current crisis increase in the salaries can wait till then more
Its true its difficult time, not for individuals, Govt. and organisations but for everyone and its the time that everyone who is capable to manage with reduction in his / her luxury spending, it shall be a great service to each one of us, mankind, animals and to the nation. more
