Good job done by BJP MLA of our area

I reside in a society at Sector-10, Dwarka located on the main Pochanpur Road. Huge garbage of tree and plant cuttings was piled up and lying for the last 8-9 months at 4-5 places in front of five adjecent societies including mine. Earlier NDMC emoployees used to refuse to remove this garbage on the pretext that this is due to some special activities of the society and it is society's reponsibility to remove it.

On 14th Oct., our society president called the existing BJP MLA of our area and updated him about the situation. MLA personally came on 15th morning at about 9 AM along with 3 trucks and NDMC staff and got the entire garbage removed till evening. He also told the superviser that he will revisit next motning to review the position.

When we asked him about permanent solution. He advised us to inform him one day before about any such garbage to be generated and he will send additional tracks to remove the same.

I appreciate MLA's prompt response and advise AAP MLAs to work on similar lines. Let the residents see whether NDMC respond positively or not. In both cases AAP will be in a win-win position. Just sending 3000 photos of dirty places to MCD demanding action may be misunderstood as mere political move. more

Yes, good work by Municipal authorities. Also, the current practice of burning the street garbage by the Municipal appointed sweepers, should be dispensed with for saving the envioronment. more
Thanks Sunilji for appreciating my post. more
Good work should be appreciated irrespective of party politics. more
Action and also the visibility is need of the hour more
