Ghaziabad not selected in Smart City list
While all kinds of activities like polythene drive are organized, why is Ghaziabad not able to get selected as Smart City.

EVERY GOVT. DEPT. SHOULD HAVE EFFICIENCY LIKE MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES. OR PRIVATISE EVERY DAMN GOVT. RUN DEPT. TO GET RID OF CORRUPTION AND DIRTY MENTALITY OF NOT WORKING. more

Local bodies should work hard to clean and maintain our City , which they are not doing. If they will not wake up then its not possible to make a smart city. Also public has to be aware for cleaniness and should undersatnd responsibility. Nagar Nigam should be handed over to Private sector because they are not serious to clean and maintain the city. more

In Swachh Bharat Circle Poll on "Any visible improvement in Ghaziabad in terms of cleanliness and waste management" till day before yesterday was NIL ZERO. In first declaration of smart city Ghaziabad ranked 86th in U.P. (among the bottoms). Next declaration of smart cities after mid June, 16 and in the same conditions it is not going to make in it too. There is no "Mai Baap" (God Father) for Ghaziabad. At the time of creation of Ghaziabad District in 1976, it was most advanced town in NCR. Now after 40 years it is most backward city in NCR. Now it is the turn of citizens to catch hold of Mayor, MLAs, M.P., Municipal Chief, VC, Ghaziabad Development Authority and even state & Central govt. to make rigorous efforts in this direction. On its own this sleepy town will not wake up. more

THAT IS WHAT EVERY CITIZEN IF GHAZIABAD IS SURPRISED ABOUT. JUST BECAUSE THERE US SMAJWADI PARTY RULING THE STATE. I THINK BJP SHOULD NOT DO THIS KIND OF DISCRMUNATION. WHEN FARIDABAD IS NOMINATED THEN WHY NOT GHAZIABAD. GHAZIABAD IS MORE IMPORTANT AND PROMINENT. GHAZIABAD'S ALSO INCLUDE NOIDA AND SAHIBABAD. THERE ARE LOTS FOREIGHNERS PASS THRU GHAZIABAD WHILE GOING TO INDIA EXPO MART WHERE INDIA'S BIGGEST HANDICRAFTS AND HOME FURNISHING FAIRS TAKE PLACE. ALSO A VERY LARGE NUMBER IF FOREIGHNERS GO TO MORADABAD PASSING THRU GHAZIABAD. BUYERS WUD FEEL COMFORTABLE GOING TO MORADABAD UF GHAZIABAD IS MADE SMART CITT. THE MORADABAD EXPORTERS COMMUNITY SHOULD PRESSURISE GOVT. TO DECLARE GHAZIABAD AS SMART CITY. IF THE GOVT. IN CENTRE IS UNABLE TO DO THIS IN THAT CASE THE UTTAR PRADESH GOVT. SHOULD MAKE GHAZIABAD A VERY SMART CITY. I REQUEST ALL TO SUPPORT THIS. I HOPE THE GOVTS IN CENTRE AND IN UTTAR PRADESH WILL GIVE A SERIOUS THOUGHT TO THIS SUGGESTION. more
