From Aatmanirbhar Bharat to Aatmanirbhar Asia

After the Covid pandemic aftermath, it is time to rethink the strategies for the growth, development and survival of human civilisation along with an equal measure for the environment as well namely flora, fauna, marine life, plants, trees and many such species prevalent in the universe. Nature has divided the land mass and oceans on earth into Continents. The world is divided into 7 continents comprising of 195 countries. The seven continents in the world are Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, South America and Antarctica. Out of the 7 continents, Antarctica is situated at the South Pole and is uninhabited. Hence, the other 6 continents consist of 195 countries of the world.
It is aptly said that United we stand and divided we fall. Internal strifes would always lead to downfall and would hinder a nation in overall development. Nuclear Weapons manufacturing will take place to boost security and to thwart the opponent from executing the threat. This will pave the way for an arms race at the cost of overall development of the Continent. Instead one should join forces and use the nuclear energy to generate electricity and develop the surrounding areas. Save Water and the environment by using Clean and Green energy, biofuels etc and eliminate pollution by using Electric vehicles. Plant more trees and convert barren lands into agricultural crop lands by using technology and creating forests to protect wildlife.
Consider the developed countries which are in North America, Europe, South America and Australia whereas the developing countries are in Asia and underdeveloped countries are in Africa. There is an imbalance which leads to power struggles. The development should be based on seamless infrastructure connectivity between countries within the continent. For example, Road connectivity and Air connectivity is more prevalent between the countries or states within the continents of North America and Europe rather than Asia and Africa. In this regard, China's Belt and Road initiative is ambitious and will improve Road infrastructure connectivity tremendously but the methodology (land grabbing) is being questioned. There are many tumultuous nations which have to change their attitude and viewpoint in order to contribute to everlasting peace and overall development.
The available land mass should be optimally used within the Continent regardless of country for overall development. The Trust factor is foremost for success in such ventures. Therefore the concept of Continent should be used rather than country. Taking a cue, the 49 countries in Asia can join hands together and work for a better future and become United Provinces of Asia or the Asian States Confederation.There can be a separate currency as Asian Dollar for monetary transactions leading to overall development and catapulting Asia into a developed economy. Proper coordination and commitment with impeccable integrity will be the game changer for the overall development of Asia. more
