Fraud Facebook sellers

I saw an Ad for smartwatch in facebook from dealsnation and made online payment of Rs.399 using Amazon pay wallet. I
got email regarding the payment from Razorpay mentioning payment to Dope Mart and an email from dealsnation. Now,
the email as well as website of dealsnation is non-existent. consumerhelpline.gov.in closed my complaint without taking any action to trace the origin of the email from the fraud and also not locating the person getting the e-payment. This sort
of passive support to the fraud e-commerce sellers would embolden them and cause immense loss to
unsuspecting consumers. Government must also act against the fraud sellers, against facebook for putting up their ads and against the employee for shielding the fraud seller
and closing the complaint without taking appropriate action. more

The price quoted itself should have raised doubt in your mind prior to making the payment. No smartwatch is available at the price quoted in the ad. more
E-com web portals must do proper due diligence of the vendors selling their products from the e-portal otherwise these sort of fraud will increase. Govt. should put in place guidelines for these portals to verify the vendors before allowing any vendor to sell its product on the portal. In addition the portal should have the physical addressees and such other details of the vendors as may be specified. Further the web portal should have an ombudsman for looking into the customer complaints and such other matters as may be specified. more
Unsuspecting consumers must use their prudence while dealing with on line transaction. more
Facebook, OLX, quikr and lots more such websites have become den for fraud sellers. It is always buy product from authentic ecom web portals. There are numerous reports where people have lost money while buying from such non ecom web portals. It is better to opt for COD if available otherwise avoid buying from such dealers. more
I also bought Smartwatch and few other items from the FB SELLERS and lost hard earned money. NEVER EVER buy products through FB SELLERS. They Frauds. more
