forceful buying of the excess medicines

Hi All,
I went to medical shop and asked about the medicine "PP26" and "CC74" which was prescribed by the doctor and the number of tablets i would require is 15 each. But unexpectedly i have to buy 20. Because the medical shop person says it was packed as 10 each so they can't cut the package resulting me to buy 20. The problem for him is the medical supplier wouldn't take it back if it is cut. This is very un law full but we are very poor for asking it. Is there any way we can stop these kind of things in which people don't want to buy. I am sure now a days every one is facing the same problem. more

Let me congratulate Mr Hari muppa for at least raising the issue with the medical shop and in this circle. Many hesitate to ask or discuss. It is felt that is some thing shameful. That is en cashed by the medical shops. But many a time they cut the tablets. only issue is the Exp date will be on the part kept with them. as we consume without delay that is not a issue. In trains coffee or tea should be sold at Re 7 only for 150 Ml. But they charge re 10 and give less than 150ML taking more money and giving lass quantity. It is trusted that concerned authorities have not come across such thing so far. more
You could try another shop which is more popular in your city. Or buy only Ten Tablets at a time. Mostly the last five never get used in 15 more
There is a nexus between doctors and pharma companies. You should write to Health Minister, Govt. of India. more
Is it possible to print impression of expiry date on each tablet for e.g.3/16.one of my friend has considered belief that expired tablets are repacked in New labels by retailers or distributers. more
