Few will read. Fewer will like. Still expressing myself

Most people disapprove Kejriwal’s actions because whatever he does, is not line with the accepted principles of politics. If we really want to understand him better, we must consider the following:

1) All of us are well wisher of Kejriwal and AAP but do not know the wishes of Kejriwal and the purpose of forming AAP. That is why some who got entry with ambitions of political career, are now leaving the party. They now realise that Ideology of AAP is a dream unfulfilled and is not a mere tool to political advancement.

2) He went to jail recently not because he wanted publicity or he considered it as a step forward towards consolidating vote base for AAP. He wanted to convey some message to the law implementing agency (Court of Law) and the message was “ensure that substance/ purpose behind the law is served and not just the form due to which millions of prisioners are suffering disproportionately to their misdeeds. Purpose should not be to implement the words but to ensure justice.” He feels the pain while others just sympathise as ritual.

3) He formed special 13 member committee to regularize job of contractual skilled staff to give them and dependents assured livelihood. As a result 36000 temporary staff will be regularized. He wanted to exploitation of such employees. There was no political motive behind it.

4) He believed that ‘education to all’ is not private schools’ cup of tea. Government Schools are not to be tagged ‘useless’ but to be uplifted. Only these schools can work with this agenda. He focused on mid days meals and other basic infrastructure facilities to make it atleast worth sitting for students. His sole motive was his concern for the underprivileged children.

5) He raised his voice against police because police is the root cause of retail corruption in day to day public life. Remember, only poor gets victimized. Police is very good servant of the rich and powerful.

6) No body can know better than him, being in senior position in a revenue department, about the deep rooted corruption in beaurocracy and its political links. All mafias and money churning houses, by whatever name you call it, are owned/ masterminded and run in great synchronizations with all concerned departments because they earn from public utilities like electricity, water, gas, infrastructure. His efforts to break few such mafia created more enemies than friends. It is like putting hands inside nest of honey bees or wasps. By touching water mafia and Ambani owned Discoms, he risked his personal and party’s future at stake. This shows his unmatched desire and urge to serve common man without bothering for outcome.

7) Finally, resigning from CM post, though immatured and unjustified, proves beyond doubt that he is not power hungry. If power centric, he could have run the government successfully by accommodating Binny like with some ministerial post and assuring congress not to do any act detrimental to Congress image.

Moral of the story is “If you see yourself in Kejriwal, you will not leave him.”
