Faridabad Roads/Cleanliness/Encroachment & Traffic
Neelam side of Faridabad roads have always been bad. Petty and shallow repairs done does not stay even for a few months. Only MCF knows how much money they spend every year on patch-up work and why not it is made a condition on the contractor to re- repair, if roads get broken within a specific time span. Not more than 2 to 4 heavy rains fall in Faridabad and just after one shower, the condition of roads becomes pathetic.
Not only this, cleanliness is still the worst part of Faridabad. Both sides of areas around Neelam - Bata - Hardware - 1-2 Chowk - BK Chowk and from Hardware to 22 - 24 sectors have been untidy 40 years back and are untidy even now as well. Major Banks, Insurance Companies, Hotels, Hospitals are located in this area, but no one cares. No way this area is worth calling 'city area'. Encroachment, unruly traffic are the order of everyday here. I wish some one from MCF takes a through round of the area to realize how Faridabad, the so called city, is being maintained by MCF. People blame Modi for this, which is squarely MCF's responsibility. Yes, the higher-ups need to take note of it. more

On the road condition and the shoddy work done, I suggest you put up a RTI application to the concerned agency in the government. You can ask questions like the number of contracts awarded for the construction/ repair of specific roads for the last 3 years and and the amount spent. They will have to reply and if they don't or if they give you a vague reply, lodge an appeal with the appellate authority. If the reply received does not match with the ground reality, pass on the information to the press. I assure you, you will witness a magic and things will improve. That would be far more satisfying than lamenting poor facilities. more

Kansal Sahab , If you please visit sector 37 from Mathura Road , on the first crossing you will the find the road going to Sarai is ok whereas the other three sides are/ were damaged . more

None of the roads in Faridabad are in good condition. Even garbage all along bye pass road is in pathetic condition hope MCD wakes up ASAP. When will we have roads where no maintenance is required even after heavy down pour? I haven't seen roads being repaired every year in foreign countries. more
