This is an Appeal to Government.
Sir request you to kindly exempt Senior Citizens owners of flats in Cooperative housing Societies from 18% GST on their monthly contribution towards common expenses. This will provide great relief to retirees in their sunset years.
Local Circles may kindly take up this request with GST Council and FM.

Govt must look in to the grievances of Senior Citizens, specially Non Pensioner. Seeing the rate of Inflation, the survival itself has become difficult. Govt should increase/maintain Interest rates on SCSS for longer period. Give relief in medical requirements.

There is a lot that govt can do for sr citizens but nothing is being done and it is step motherly treatment to them and do not want them to exist and are a burden .

I don't think it's a good idea to completely eliminate GST for a particular group of citizens. However good elimination of GST may do for the seniors, there must be other alternatives to explore. The GST policy must be preserved.

I strongly support this or increase the base amount as expenses for maintenance charges keep increasing. The base amount can be 12000 or 15000. If the maintenance comes 12000 per month then you are living in an affluent society and you can pay the GSTThe government May go for this Instead of completely eliminating. The logic is as maintenance charges increase base amount should also increase. This will benefit a large number of seniors in retirement.
