This election is an election of All Secular+Media Vs BJP.
This is 1st election where not a single scam was the center focus.
This is the 1st election which was fought over ideology.
Aggressive Hindutva Ideology Vs Secular Ideology.

Delhi has Muslim Population of 25%, specially with a huge Bangladeshi Migrant Population. In certain areas, even 40%
Total Minorities - 30%

Overall Voting Percentage - 67%
Out of which Polling by Muslims+Minorities - 95-100%
67% - 30% = 37% Hindus have voted.
Total Votes polled by BJP is 32%

Meaning, virtually, 85-90% of Hindus have voted for BJP.
Which means, AAP has got less then 5% of Hindu vote.

AAP & All Secular people shud take stock of these figures instead of being happy, since, this wud be the beginning of a huge fight within the country. more

Very bad argument. Lets accept defeat as our inability to judge the people's mind. While Modiji was focusing on bring international funding for development of India. Others should have focused on publicising the benefits that would come and have come to the poor and middle class. The Aam Aadmi. Lack of attention of the Aam Aadmi has taken the swing in the direction of Aam Aadmi Party. Thats it and nothing else. Yes, some muslims and other communities would have got dejected by the recent incidents. But, a very large chunk of educated Muslims still know that Modiji's focus is development and nothing else. His body language, mind language, vocal language everything reflects development. Do not project it in such a way that muslims are anti modi. They were but slowly they are understanding his real sense. There are many muslims parading his achievements. more
This has no meaning when you have been defeated so badly.this is a good idea to make fool to ourselves. It is wishful thinking. more
Figures looks good to defend our selves. But bringing in the Krian bedi to the party in last moment have damaged a lot. Her inability to handle the media. Modi has not touched the basic amenties problem in his rallies also played the role in the disaster. more
While i agree with the vote share, but delhi has only 11-12% muslims. I am a die hard Modi and bjp fan but I think all the loose remarks like ramzaida, haramzaida, etc and love jihad etc has caused a lot of youth and minorities to vote for AAP. Also the negative campaigning and arrogance of bjp leaders together with goof ups like calling north eastern students ' immigrants' etc. harmed the prospects of bjp candidates in this election. I think bjp and rss needs to rein in leaders like Sakshi Maharaj etc. The vote for Modiji was for development and all other activities should take a back seat. RSS and VHP should carry out their hindutva agenda in a careful and silent way without causing any backlash and appearing in the headlines. Conversions to Christianity has to be checked and no harm in propogating hinduism peacefully amongst tribals, but all this should be done without controversies and violence( attacks on religious places should be checked). Let us hope we get back to winning ways in Bihar Elections more
