It looks to me that most people who have diesel vehicles never bothered about Pollution Check anyway. Now it is surprising that a Mr. AB Jain feels that Plloution check is a recket...... All shameful thoughts. My Friend now you will come across your vehicle being banned, if you have not bothered about PUC. more

Mr Law, If you had read my post carefully you will understand that in my opinion PUC is a sham- not necessarily a racket. It has not helped reduce pollution but it makes life miserable for millions in times like this. I hope you realise that there are many amongst us who may disagree with the rules and LAWs but are still law abiding. more

Agreed, need to give some time for compliance, as the PUC expiring now also cannot be renewed due to lack of infrastructure and points. Efforts should be to open centers and mandatory for all service centers to open PUC centers as those points which adjust the car emissions better. more

PUC is one big eyewash resulting in huge national losses to the country both in terms of money and time. Has any one come across a vehicle being banned for reasons of PUC failure? I wonder if there is any statistics available on per hundred checks how many fail? In some cases it is possible that the attendant increase the flow to let the vehicle pass. But this is another eyewash because the fuel consumption goes up. more
