Delhi test positivity ratio rising

Delhi reported 03 deaths, 239 cases, 309 recoveries, 1730 active cases. No of tests - 47689 ( RTPCR- 35968)
Positivity rate -0.50% CFR- 1.70% tests conducted were half of saturday because it was sunday.

Worrying part is if tests are doubled tomorrow we will surely be in the 350-500 cases range more

Looks like the lady Seema Mehra was right. On 9 March Positive Cases have shot up to 320 on 66744 tests giving a positivity rate of 0.48% much higher than the average of 0.2-0.3% achieved recently. Number of deaths has gone up to 4 today after many days when it was between 0 and 3. The data is pointing towards an increasing trend and we do not know if that can be halted. It increases the chance of infection and is therefore serious. more
Agree with rajan gupta. Focus needs to be on vaccination now. Each person getting vaccinated contributes to prevent the spread. About 100 patients being vaccinated at a govt. facility. About 200 at a private facility. Need to encourage senior citizens in neighbourhood to get vaccinated. can help them make registrations as they are not tech savvy. offer them help in getting to the vaccination centres. monitor their health on calls as many senior citizens do not have their kids in he town. this shall lead to spread of the vaccination drive. more
Yes increased vaccination is the way to go. more
With 91000 tests in previous day's report (7 March 2021) positive cases were 286 and positivity rate at about 0.3%. Report of 8 March was for about 47000 tests only (reflecting Sunday) so positivity rate was 0.5%. more
No need to panic such datas only give tension with no support from any media reporters. Rather we must use mask, sanitise our hands regularly and keep safe. Indians have high immunity than others .It is better to stay safe keep safe and enjoy life. more
