Neelam Nath ji I fully agreewith you that it is the primary duty of our Govt to look afater the welfare of doctors who care patients with full heart. In some instances people man handle these doctors without any fault on the part of doctors. Doctors have to treat the patient within the rules and regulations priscribed for them. more

For everyone commenting here that doctors should not resort to strikes-true but how many of you go to a Govt. hospital for treatment? They are for aam junta who have got powers of leaders, get freebies like water and electricity and every other facility except Health and good education, Our leaders want them to remain like that only-Ignorant fools who can be bought, these masses go to the likes of Bengali doctors spread all around Delhi/NCR. When the case has multi organ failure, after heavy antibiotics or erratic treatment like infusing them rapidly with IV fluids @ 8 units per day,or given a heavy dose of Steroids, these people flock to Govt. hospitals and die and Doctors get beaten up including lady doctors by the very people whose women are Ghungat clad back home but since there is a Dactarni....these folks get liberties to ask complicated gyne questions as if in 1 day their Ignorant queries will be answered.Dignity of profession,Dignity of Humans or Ethics? Think again and Do spend a day at the nearest Govt. hospital, just to observe but Do not fall sick as Our patients are at the Mercy of God. more
