CORRUPTION is the main factor n reason for the Delhi Police not being able to perform to the expectation & requirements of the public in general.
DP is to be paid whether it is a marriage pandal at your home or a house of own under construction.
Traffic police apart, the general thana police is deep into corruption & refuses to move without a consideration. All these from PERSONAL EXPERIENCES with self & around us.

The BJPâs nomination of Kiran Bedi as the chief ministerial candidate was an attempt to mimic the AAPâs politics by calling an outsider to lead the party. In an ironic way, Ms Bedi appeared mechanical, a *Gudiya* of the party, unwelcome to many in the BJP cadre. She was as stolid as Arvind Kejriwal was effervescent. She seems happier with a lathicharge than the politics of persuasion and negotiation. Worse, she is an indicator that the BJP has been outfought by Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. Kiran Bedi was last Kiran of Narender Bhai Modi / Amit Shah as CM candidate from Delhi. As a sympathiser who wishes to be both critical and constructive, I hope the AAP will be continuously inventive. Its idea of an ombudsman for the party was a creative one. Corruption and drugs were two great issues that it raised in a brilliant manner. It also raised issues about how much should one pay for education, water, electricity if they are to remain public goods. Politics as the search for public goods must now look at services in terms of a new audit of access, quality, participation, everydayness, instead of mere economics. The citizens as user and consumer must have a say in the nature of service provided. Amm Admi Party will provide Water as a Right. I agree with my brother Vikas Handa. Police puts barricades only to hide their failure and divert attention of the public to fool every one. They know that they are responsible for traffic jams but take undeserved pride in patting their own back saying that no doubt they slow down the traffic but they do so to track terror. In fact they do so only to harass and cause inconvenience to the public with no ostensible gain. They must stop this and find some other ways. - Uday Dubey
