corruption in medical field.
issue is not this? issue is that, why any medical practitioner or consultant , does not accept pathalogical reports / xray, CT SCAN ETC which are done in other lab.he wants reports of his recomomded lab. why, when all labs are registered and MD PATHALOGY takes the responsibility of results by signing below.how long this commission game from labs will continue and patient will be paying again and again for the same test, with same results.
medical council of india ,should make any law so that hardearned money of patient could be saved.
further one more loot is there by hospitals. if u are ill and want to admit in hospital, first of all, they ask, do you have mediclaim, if not, they will say sorry.
if you are covered by mediclaim policy, they will extract your nearly all amount of policy by giving different bills, visits of so many doctors and their extra charges.
from this, both hospitals and mediclaim insurance companies are benifited . because insurance companies are getting good business.
public think that if they have to go to appolo or fortis or medanta ,one lac per day expenses may be there according to status of hospital.
thats why people anyhow save money to pay for a policy of 5 lacs , in place of 1 lac
since when foreign companies came in insurance business, they played a new game to make fool the people and they got success.
40 to 50 years back, 140 sugar level was normal, but they blackmailed the medicos and it was changed . now if it exceeds110 or 120 , mediclaim insurance company will charge extra heavy premium , declaring it as pre existing desease.
so when our medicos, authorities and govts will look in to this. more
