First of all Food products, which is being supplied by different companies and by local vendors, should be subject to periodical lab testing by Food and Drugs Department. Their inspectors should collect samples from distributors/stores and check at random. If it contains any adulteration or defective, action should be taken, immediately against the company/suppliers. For this it's our duty to write letters to the department and see that they takes complaints seriously. If, they are not responding, matter should be referred to the Consumer grievances Forum. more
To get pure water is also consumer right. We are residing at 5-1-561, Falcon's Crest, Syed Jung Lane, Troop Bazar, Hyderabad - 500 095. Land Owner has locked, access to Terrace, whereby we are unable to clean Overhead tank of terrace and we are getting polluted water for drinking and for use. Your good office can intervene and solve the problem permanently or may kindly direct us for appropriate authority, who can solve the problem of consumers of the complex. more
Adulterated food like edible oil, biscuits, bogus tea and immature fruits ripened through calcium carbide, unhygienic water is common all over India.Health authorities are silent spectators. No one is bothered about the health of common people. more
All are welcomed but how these will be practically work more
There is a wide gap between demand and supply of food products. People are many a times lured or compelled to buy products at cheaper prices without bothering for the quality of products. The agencies responsible for enforcing and ensuring the quality of products are ill-equipped and have inadequate trained manpower. In this situation food adulteration is quite likely to happen and it is happening without any guilt. more
