Consumer Rating

Consumer is nonentity in India. I bought a Data Card from Reliance (No9380309388)in March 2015. It did not function even one day and went defective. The sales person collected the piece saying nthat he would rectify and return it but till today not heard anything from them. The funny part is I started getting bill for useage. This is the service of Reliance. Despite complaining to Reliance Customer Care no response. more

I had a very similar experience with DOCOMO with a Data Card dongle purchased. Though I had paid full in advance for a specified period of usage, the billing continued beyond the period for which I intended to use the dongle while moving rapidly from one place to another within India. It took me lot of efforts - visits, calls, e-mails, etc - to get a relief finally after 4 months. The sales staff are not trained properly to service the customers; there is a lot of terms as hidden agenda. However, the front desk guys are given stiff targets to meet and hence, the sales personnel improvise their own ways and means to fool the customers!!! more

Mr Dhandapani's suggestion to contact the Company's top Executive (Ambani) was the first I sent e mail, but I got reply asking full details of purchase, which I could not give, since the piece was door delivered by sales person. Immediately after logging in the piece went defective and it was collected from me for repair and never returned till today,though 3 months are over. Added to the injury I received 2 bills for payment,which stopped when I threatened to takeup the matter through Consumer Forum. The substance of the story is Reliance is money minded minus service more  
Mr.Sathyacumaran is absolutely correct.In fact the lower level staff and it's working are the trouble maker and notorious.In the entire Reliance group the customer dis-satisfaction is on its peak weather it is consumer products or share trading.I have already faced so many problems relating to Data card and share trading that I had to take oath to never think of 'RELIANCE'. At lower level, the entire group concerned with a particular shop get united and make customers fool.This trend is too much in Share trading segments where right from a dealer,marketing manager and shop manager or unit head all are the number one cheats,frauds and 420s.I had almost wept in tears and the staff after making the customers fools,get transferred or sent some where else on promotion.Since I am a service class man I had no time to fight but to tolerate all this was only the remedy. I have already a bitter experience of consumer courts where the advocate and the opposite party settle between themselves at our cost. more  
sathya cumaran dhandapni instead of going to consumer court and lawyer would play double game accoriding to situation its better to contact the companies higher ups and put forht your problem they are sure to solve otherwise only option is seek media and channel help more
