Can we get the Govt to take masking seriously

India is making a grave mistake by taking Covid lightly. This Covid is a mass disabling event and T-Cell experts estimate that every infection reduces life by 7-12 years.

Your own LocalCircles survey says No one is complying. Heck 85% dont even have a mask with them any more. 85% See attached. Only Kohli wearing mask in Mohali and no staff wearing masks.

B.2.75.2, BJ.1 and BA.4.6 are all variants capable of causing a surge.

What can we do so the Govt takes this seriously. Yes, everyone is tired of Covid but the virus isn’t so the risk is very much there. more

If you want to wear mask you should be able to do so but please stop pushing the silly idea of government forcing masks. This is not the way you prevent Covid. The Dr at Sanford has done the research that this does nothing. People at risk can and should but asking government to force people is not an idea we should push for. more
Yes at least in public placess where crowd is quite big and also in movie theatres ,malls and local transport it should be adhered and still we are not out of it and no one knows when it is going to give us a surprise since now also we are reporting but since not much testing is going on to really give us a good understanding of where we are more
People and governments want to underplay the Covid dangers because of a million reasons ... Some valid and some not valid... but they seem to have forgotten that prevention is better than cure ... My grandchildren and their school buddies aged between 3 and 7 years are constantly sick with flu symptoms that are never tested ... They keep passing these unknown strains of virus to each other and have been suffering ever since physical school has started ... God alone knows what long term damage is happening to the organs of these little ones ... It seems noone wants to know and be bothered... Bhagwan Bharose... We are truly living in a cruel and selfish world more
I just returned from India. After a week, I developed some symptoms of COVID. I am now scheduling COVID test. I have been wearing mask since 2019, a few months before we all became aware of COVID. I learned about the efficacy of masks during my vacation in South East Asia, where people wear masks; I think it is prevent dust. mite and other pollutants. Since then, until this time around, I have had no, I mean NO, air-borne diseases. To me, though not a guarantee, mask is the first line of defense against air-borne diseases; that is common sense. I do not pay attention to all the reports that are available to us. Science and statistics are excellent, but they have their limitations. One can choose the right path as one deems fit. Very best wishes. more
The scientific studies have proven that masks do not work in preventing Covid. Read Dr Bhattacharya from Sanford in California. more
Is there any paper which showed effectivity/efficiency of masks with a virus isolate? more
