Cheating the passengers - spice jet & makemy trip

Spicejet & Makemytrip.com are frauds!!
I attempt to book a ticket on Spicejet through www.makemytrip.com for my daughter to travel; The site asks me to login, which I did! To my surprise, the ticket gets booked in MY name; I call makemytrip.com & spicejet.com and attempt to point out the mistake made by their websites and ask them to change the passenger's name or give me a refund.
Instead, what do I get?? No action!!! They want me to cancel the wrongly booked ticket, lose my money and book a fresh ticket on my daughter's name!!!! Why should I do that??
Each is now blaming the other!!! FRAUDS!!! I hope the CEO of Spicejet sees this!!!! Maybe our airline minister Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju sees this too and takes action on these frauds!!! Makemytrip.com is also a part of this fraud. Shame!!! Shame!!! more

I recently travelled between mumbai and chennai by spicejet. I wish to narrate something, I did in my naivety and, by and sleight of hand of the airline. While going through the motions of the booking, there is a point where the site leads you to select one's seat of preference. By the way, on spicejet, everything has a price. every choice of seat near the window and aisle was almost premium and, the one betweens were a cost somewhat lower. i deceived myself into a self-assumption that one needs to pay for allotment in addition to all the other costs. The subsequent week, i happened to again book a ticket by the same airlines for a trip to delhi. I realised then that one did not have to pay those wonderfully deceptive tactics and tricks the website takes you into. more  
The private players have found out various means to cheat the passengers in the name of providing service on filmsy grounds. more  
Shobhana, if u r convinced u r right, lodge a complain with Ministry of Consumer Affairs. Every airline has a Nodal Officer. Your complain will go to him/her. When Kingfisher had shut down their operation, MMT wanted me to bear cancellation charges( as decided by Kingfisher). I wrote to MCA and the KF Nodal Officer called me.
