Cheating by Vodafone

Daylight cheating by Vodafone.
Below please find message from Vodafone received today.
"Hello! Your current Vodafone Postpaid plan is no longer valid from 09-Feb-19. You will be upgraded to the new RED Basic Plan (Monthly Rental Rs299) that offers -Unlimited Local/STD Calls -Free National Roaming -20 GB data with roll-over upto 50 GB -100 L+N SMS Also get FREE 1 year subscription of Vodafone PLAY + RED Hot Deals. We value your association & offer a special rental discount of Rs50 for first 6 months. The new plan will be effective your next bill cycle."
From the message you can see the high handed behaviour of Vodafone. The company has not given any option to its subscribers to choose any other plan of their choice, who did not port their numbers to Jio. My earlier plan was Rs. 149+GST per month. Now they are forcefully upgrading me to a plan where I have to pay twice.
I am sure many more subscribers might have received such messages.
Can anyone advise what action should one take to avoid harassment by Vodafone.
Jio offers much cheaper plan against Vodafone. more
