CHARGES BY PVT. HOSPITALS

Hon CM KEJARIWAL JI, Jai Hind, I thank you and appreciate the work initiated
and done for the Health problems of Public. But the system advertised require few forms to be filled, approaching the authorities for getting the approvals, lot of documentation. Sir, the Patient requiring the treatment and is on bed, how can these formalities be completed. The patient will die in between. These days there are satellite families, especially, senior citizens are living alone, than who will complete all these formalities to get the treatment. I feel if the existing systems are also improved than 90
percent of problems will be solved.

Private Hospitals are charging the Patients heavily which is beyond the capacity of normal person, thus deprived of treatment. For example. Pvt. Hospitals are charging 30000/- for MRI, whereas some Labs are doing in 2500/- to 7000/-. Govt./CGHS rate is only 1600/- app. Now you can see the difference. Even in Injection Syringe, difference is ten times the market rate. Consultation charges are more than 1000/- whereas Govt./CGHS rate is 150/-. So their rated be fixed as per govt. rates such as CGHS rates, NOT MORE THAN THAT. Any one violating this, be fined heavily may be 50 Lakhs, fine of less than does not effect them. They are allotted land for hospital at a subsidized rates. As such they have been asked to keep some portion of beds for EWS category of patients, and give them free treatment, which is practically not done. They should entertain CGHS other empanelled patients, the treatment be CASHLESS on the production of their ID proof treatment charges/bill be charged from CGHS or the respective Empanelled authority, verified by the patient. This should be irrespective whether the hospital is empanelled or not by the respective authority. The patient can not be deprived of his/her basic right of medical treatment for any reason whatsoever/requirement of some/particular document. Treatment of the Patient is Prime. more

Private Hospitals are a Shop unto them and they fleach the patient to the last penney because they think that the patient is there to fill its coffers and thus it is their birth right to pleach as much as possible. Therefore, it would be better if the Govt. convert all private Hospitals into Pvt-cum-Govt. hospitals, the hardships of poor patient will be minimise. more
Medical loot is systematic and product of dog eat dog policy. Need curative action and not symptomatic treatment. Need more medical colleges with large number of profitable seats for those who want to go abroad or go for private practice. Have generic names of medicines rather than silly names with 40o/o commission to doctors and so on. For senior citizens, rather than save for third, fourth and fifth generation, opt for quality old age homes as per paying capacity and go for reverse mortgage of home. more
Only Adhar card or PAN or Driving Licence be asked. more
Dear Mr D K Gupta, It is definitely a "Welcome Step" long overdue-neverthless 'Not Late'. Passing Resolutions is one issue-- Seeing their implementation is another and very important - Hopefully there shall be some dedicated organization looking into implementation--rather leaving to Bureaucracy -- with NO RESULTS . Regards Ravindra Kapoor more
I would like to add some points for Govt hospitals patient goes into emergency and OPD emergency means patient is serious and required immediate attention but only junior Dr or Stundents are appointed their no senior Dr they keep sending to patient for various tests for which patients family member keep running from one building to another then patient get attended by Jr Dr only no senior Doctor available to see the seriousness of the patient more
