Builders going belly up
Glad that the Profiteering authority is taking action against erring builders. It seems many builders are going belly up. Can everyone share a list please of all builders that they know of are under NCLT or bankrupt. May be armed with that info some of us who are stuck with a builder can accordingly modify our actions.

Diamond City South, a 617-flat upscale complex in South Kolkata, was built by Rajat Enterprise, 68, Harish Mukherjee Road, Kolkata and has been renamed now as ALCOVE with same address. The promoter is not handing over the maintenance and day-to-day running authority to a legally elected Executive Committee under the supervision of NCLT. The case is dragging for months now, without any tangible progress and several critical safety issues like Intercom, CCTV, Piped gas supply, water pumping system, etc are collapsing one after another - threatening the basic needs of modern living and endangering to fire hazards. more

There isa builder active in few cities (Bangaluru, Pune & Gurgaon) called "Jupiter builders" who mainly target ex-servicemen and serving soldiers in the name of Commander's projects. In Pune they cheated around 200 customers, by not building their flats as promised and now have gone "belly-up". Those who have booked flats with them be aware. Their head office in Bangaluru has been closed, with forwarding address. more

My son booked a flat recently from Godrej in Sohna project named Godrej Nature. Godrej is charging full 12 percent GST and saying it will not give itc. I can peovide details more

I had booked a flat with Appolo-infraprojects Ltd,2132/5124, Lewis Rd, Nageswar Tangi, Old Town, Bhubaneswar, Odisha 751002 and was assured of flat delivery in 6months time.I paid an advance of Rs 8lakh thirtyfour thousand and rest was to be paid by IDBI Bank under housing loan scheme.Unfortunately after receiving advance ShriDipak Mohanty,C&MD,Appolo-infraprojects refused to give me flat mentining lapses in his own contract and inability to deliver the flat.I was forced to withdraw from the Sagarika Enclave project in Danda Munda,Bhunbaneswar.The builder has not yet returned the advance paid to him. more
