Black Fungus meds crisis in Delhi

Why is there no amphotericin available in Delhi? I have a friends mother who may not survive if she doesn’t get this. And seems many more are looking for this drug whose family members are deteriorating. What a mess. We knew this was coming and still didnt plan for it. Why do we have a commerce ministry a pharma ministry a health ministry, health dept of Delhi Govt if we can only react and that too so freaking late. more

Agreed that the politicians have shown themselves in the poorest light during this second wave ... Whether at Central or the state levels ... All behaving like headless chicken... Shirking responsibility and playing the blame game as usual ... but what about the cruel individuals who are hoarding and black marketing essential medicines etc. Have they no conscience??? more
Delhi Govt. total failure but they will easily blame centre and walk out . more
The C M is busy either blaming the Centre, projecting himself in all TV channels, or giving away one crore compensation to the family of one doctor who died because he belonged to a community which is his vote bank from public funds. But he has nothing to worry. He will get re-elected as he will distribute free bees towards the election time. He won’t spend money for public health now. The foolish public will lap up the freebies & vote for him. more
Winning the elections is an art where in people are exploited with free bees or undue favour. more
No ventilators, no ICU beds, no Remdesivir, no oxygen,no amphotericin et al ..... if this was a corporate failure, the CEO would have been summarily sacked. Alas, as the city’s CEO is a politician, expect no accountability. more
