BJP or AAP? Just think beyond form.

BJP Govt had already decided to challan and/or seize e-rikshaws for non- compliance of MV Act.

It was Kejriwal who stood by e-rikshaw drivers, met LG and also wrote letter to Centre mentioning view point of the High Court in support of the continuation of e-rikshaws.

BJP sensed the political gain and rushed to announce blanked permission, without applying mind, just to catch vote bank. Their donkey like approach will result in:

1) sub-standard quality risking passengers life because BJP has exempted e-rikshaws from complying Quality test criteria. Great benifit to the manufacturers at the cost of human life.

2) no knowledge even about the traffic signals or basic driving skills since no need to hold licence.

3) no solution to counter e-rikshaw mafia who charges daily rent of Rs.500/- per day leaving surplus of just 100/- to the poor driver.

Now, it is upto public to get misguided and give credit to BJP for taking senseless steps, or

to prefer substance over form i.e. the real fighter, Arvind Kejriwal, whose bold initiatives caused BJP to think about the e-rikshaw drivers. more

In their effort to outdo AAP the BJP may tie themselves in many knots. But so long as the needs of the poor marginalized is taken care off its ok. The required corrections, on safety etc, would be rectified by public criticism. more
Zee Media Bureau/ Deepak Nagpal New Delhi: The newbie on the block, Aam Aadmi Party is facing derecognition after being entangled in a legal battle, a report claimed on Wednesday. The issue involves submission of affidavits for securing recognition from the Election Commission. Any new party is supposed to submit 100 affidavits by its own members along with the application for seeking recognition. The party has to ensure that none of the 100 members have any affiliation to any other political party. In AAP's case, two of the 100 members who submitted affidavits were members of the Janarajya Party at that time. The Janarajya Party has now complained to the EC in this regard and has demanded the derecognition of the AAP. An appeal has also been filed in a court here, and the police have registered an FIR at Parliament Street police station in this regard on the court's order. The court has taken note of the matter as a case of fraud. ----------------------------------------- It is essential than anything else to find ways and means to avoid de-recognition of AAP.
