Beware all - COVID rising in Delhi again

Delhi reported 160 new cases and zero deaths in the last 24 hours. Positivity rate is 1.55% on April 9th.

Same data for April 2 exactly a week ago was 114 cases at 0.71% TPR. attached detailed reports on both days.

Administrators of Delhi are clueless once again and will only jump to action when there is writing on the wall. So please dont lower the guard. more

The first thing the citizens of this prestigious forum should make authorities understand is that online classes must be resumed at once for Nursery Kindergarten and Class 1. These kids from age 3-4 to age 5-6 really have suffered with health problems since they started going to school... Not only are they being exposed to the maids who take them to the washrooms who mostly come from slums ... But also to hundreds of students, staff ,parents, teachers etc constantly but specifically while entering and exiting the school... There are huge crowds at the school entrance because the timings for the little children are the same as the rest of the school. There is no segregated entry exit for them. No social distancing norms are existing in any school whether private or public. Therefore so many children are contracting different types of viruses during school hours. They in turn pass it on to the elders of the family. These tiny tots and their grandparents at home consequently are being constantly subjected to unhealthy exposure. They are at a delicate age and really do not need to attend physical school with masks on upto 5-6 hours daily. It is unhealthy. Online school for this vulnerable age group is a necessary option. more
