@Ailawadi Bharat. Sir the complete details of the plan may please be sent to me on my email. It is very clear that the consent has to be taken before changing any plan after its validity. In fact I look forward in studying of this new development if any as under the rules the plan cannot be changed by the telecom company in its validity period. more
If the Government can reduced the interest rates on SCSS existing accounts disturbing the cash flows of senior citizens. Then similarly private companies keep of changing the terms. To me the the life time definition is - end my customer life (as customer) or end of Service provider life (Airtel services are closed) or end the plan. We don't have much choice. Youngsters keep on changing the plans and service provider to their advantage. They are smart..... more
Older players in Telecom are experiencing many problems, primarily in earnings. It is natural that they resort to all possible means to augment earnings by many methods, some or all of them may not be palatable many of us. I guess we do not have much choice. Only choices are either to continue with them in spite of their price enhancements or switch over to another who may be a suitable alternative. I doubt TRAI has much say on this. Even if we complain, they will forward to AIrtel to respond and do not involve in followup. Sad but true. more
Can someone provide me the complete details of the issue. As per regulation, the tariff plan cannot be changed during its validity including that of life time tariff plan. For the purpose of life time validity means the expiry of the licence. If the validity of the licence is extended, the plan also gets extended accordingly. more
Dear Sir, I am having AIR TEL mobile under life time free validity scheme but since last month company has started charging Rs28 per month to continue out call charges without my consent and knowledge by sending one sms one fine day. They are debiting this charges from available balance if no sufficient balance out going calls are suspended . Please advice any recourse. more
Airtel in order to trap the market has announced life time validity, but due to competition from Jio, they has started asking for recharge at each 28 days. No notification has been issued at public interest. TRAI will be silent as usual. more
