Airtel Cheating customers

Airtel is cheater company.

they sends fake offers about recharge and channel pacakges.

after recharge will be done, they will not provide same offer and same channel packages.

i am user or airtel digital TV ( consumer id : 3003664930)

they given me offer via sms that if i recharge with Rs 1499 (for 6 months) then i will get 6 months free.

but after i recharged with same amount i did not get any offer.
in addition they removed many existing channels from my package ( my value prime package was removed)

i called customer care but they did not respond .

Air Tel is known for cheating yet they are allowed to function, same as Matrix who have cheated thousands of people and yet they are allowed to exist because they are close to the government, I believe!! I used to use Tata Docomo who never cheated but now they are merging with Air Tel, they have started to cheat customers too! What a sad state of affairs our country is in. more  
I have experienced cheating by Airtel when mobile phones were new. They would collect Rs.300 to Rs.400 for 30 days and would suddenly say amount to be paid again when all I had done was make one call. So I preferred to go with BSNL. L.Kalavathi Retd. Bank Official Chennai, Tamilnadu, India more

I am not shocked! But does anyone in authority take action? more  
I had written TRAI to HV a vanilla plan across all service providers. call duration in secs only...not minutes. Balance must be trfd to new provider on porting. Why shd I suffer, with old provider...simply because he has my balance?? There must be a record of calls made to, duration and Amt charged. The SMS reg duration, cost and balance must not vanish instantly but remain. The TRAI , functions as an extension of service provider and so, no action was taken on these. 27/4/18 more  
Airtel has a few what may be called 'selling agents' who get a commission for enrolling / renewing the subscription of existing customers. What is required to be checked is the authenticity of the offer received either by phone or SMS. Such offers are also available on the website or from the company's own customer care phone. It is necessary to cross check with Airtel or any such offer by writing an email. I have been writing earlier also that one must send a message, request or what-ever it may be by email. In addition to being free, it is instant and is a proof of sending it which can be quoted later on also. No one can deny having been sent. No goody goody. Be firm in the dealings. Why should someone cheat? more
