AIM FOR POTHOLE FREE ROADS
Dear Sir,
AIM FOR POTHOLE–FREE ROADS
If our vehicles would have had mouths, they would have beaten their breasts and wailed aloud. Such is the pathetic condition of our city roads. Every monsoon brings in its wake nightmarish rides for the motorists, particularly 2-wheeler riders. With technology and modern civil engineering development at our command, one fails to understand why we are unable to solve this annual recurring problem permanently. These pot-holed roads are a drain on our foreign exchange, by way of fuel wastage, as also the severe battering the mechanical systems of our vehicles. These potholes are also responsible for many fatal road accidents.
I would urge the concerned authorities to take up this issue on a war footing and bring about some respite to the harassed road users.

what are the reason for getting pot wholes on the road. 1. natural water pressure from ground, which we can not control. 2.quality construction of road. 3. design of road( No proper chamber(slope to drain) 4.No gutter on the either side of the road.

Nowadays I have seen lots of stupid people talking on phone while riding bike single handed which is very dangerous to himself as well as others and surprisingly traffic police allows everything. Please make strict rule for this, fine such person heavily in each and every corner so that no one can dare risking their and others life. My urge to honorable PM, please make note of this and implement it in every corner of road.

I have once discussed the same with one of my friend who himself is into road making contracts.his ultimate words were if there is a tender, there is a low costing idea, then again to get the tender you have to bribe, (again cost cutting) , so where shall a contractor make profit from his work?? To have a better roads will the contractor should take a 5 years role to maintain it, and govt shall only pay after 3rd year, 4th year and 5th year as 3 x installment. Any such govt agency asking bribes shall be on spot suspended upon complaint.
