All these information should be accessible at a central command in the train with powers to question / intervene.

Automate all the ticket related things. When ever there is a human intervention, I am sure that for a society like ours, illegal practice will happen. Individuals who don't have a commitment to the society and only committed to him self an his pocket, this will continue. The people who has job are only bothered to enjoy it than doing that job with dedication. Until and unless each and every individual in this society changes, sure that this will continue. Bring in automation to all the Govt. related jobs. Entertain e-governance. This will help to bring down corruption. The people who get into Govt. Service, they are asked for bribe in the existing system. And sure that those people might have got these jobs by giving this bribe. This is obvious to happen. I am sure that in the near future the common man who is really struggling is going to start revolting against this system for their survival as what we have seen in other countries recent past.

Restricting Unauthorised Entry of people People with valid travel ticket are the only people who should be allowed inside the station. This way railway resources like toilets/platform/drinking water don't come under severe stress. For really very old people/physically challenged people they can be given an escort. This way, we can not only improve the clenilinesss of the station but also have a better security in place in the station. This should be done in all junctions on an experimental basis and then rolled out nationally.

Railway budget has proposed abolition of all unmanned level crossings.Instead of abolishing them and causing inconvenience to road users,they can be converted to CCTV controlled gates and operated from the nearest railway station.Existing manned gates also can be converted to CCTV controlled gates and operated from the nearest station without any gate man
