ACCESSIBILITY OF AAP TO PUBLIC

,

Since the country is going to election mode therefore there is nation wide campaign launched by each party to increase their members and supporters. AAP is also now involved deeply to increase its base and launched an electronic drive to make one crore members across the nation.

I voted for AAP in Delhi and the candidate won from my constituency and today the MLA is Speaker of Delhi Assembly. I too have a great desire to work as a volunteer for AAP. I visited the office of Mr Dhir in Jangpura before and after his becoming Speaker of Delhi Assembly. I could meet him only once on the day when AAP was going to seek vote of confidence in the Assembly. I was directed to contact office persons. And I am very much discouraged to state t the reply given by the officer persons. It was replied that "Aap member ho to bas aap volunteer ho." Thereafter I have visited his office many times in the evening, after my office working hours, but Mr Dhir was not in his office. I was told told that I may go to his residence in Jangpura Extension to meet him.

I have also sent several mails to official ID of AAP, but there is no response. I have also posted on the facebook pages of AAP but there is no reply from any one. I happened to meet the facebook page administrator of Aam Aadmi Bhogal and told him that have posted several suggestions on your page, but there is reply, nor even acknowledgment. He said that he did not have time to read the posts on facebook page and give replies to public.

I would also like to quote one more example which would further give an indication of the way how AAP is responsive to public. On 16.01.2014 there was no electricity for 9 hours in one kilometer radius of my residence. I tried at 6.30 pm, 7 pm and 7.53 pm the Helpline No.8588833441 of my local MLA & Speaker, Mr M.S. Dhir, but the phone was switched off. I also tried phone No.9868649953 of Mr Kejriwal but it was also switched off. The AAP leaders were not accessible to attend the call to give even a pseudo assurance.

All these bits of experiences have extremely disheartened me.

I am looking forward to the day when AAP will listen to common man like me.

With good wishes to all my fellow citizens of Delhi, to all people of my motherland and to you specially to keep up your morale and stand for rights of the common man.

Good idea of creating pool of professionals. more
Great idea Devakumar ji. Let me put in a new post with your comment so we can get views from the circle members. more
Thank you, Madam (Asha Gupta Ji). We may develop a knowledge-bank of professional volunteers for each area of activity. For this, we may circulate another excel sheet for each area of activity seeking voluntary service, how much time in a week they would spare, their track record of proven experience etc. We may then pass on this Knowledge bank to the AAP. Certainly, we need a response from the AAP leadership about our voluntary offer in terms of its preparedness to utilise this collective good will. more
Devakumar Ji- I appreciate your effort in putting together summary of first two weeks. Once people put their inputs we need to put together a white paper for the CM. Also I suggest we float a question on expertise based on these 8-9 areas. We can then submit an expertise pool to him. These people should be willing to volunteer. Then we are identifying areas to be fixed and proposing some help from community itself to AK since he is right now very busy. This will get us faster traction and action. more
I would like to clarify that I have not had any bad experience simply because I never made an attempt to meet any AAP leader. I was only commenting based on the experiences shared by Shri C M Lal ji. I too agree with this view that the Delhi government must be given more time. But the inexperience of the new ministers and their over-enthusiasm to solve all problems overnight must be made good in coming days with roping in proven experienced professionals and realistic assessment respectively. more
