AAP to win majority of Delhi votes in assembly, Lok Sabha polls: Survey
NEW DELHI: Opinion among Delhiites on whether AAP did the right thing by quitting the government at this stage is sharply divided, but support for the party has only grown in the last two months. AAP is likely to win close to two-thirds of votes in the re-election to the assembly and a comfortable majority of votes from Delhi for the Lok Sabha too, according to an opinion poll done for a TV channel.
The poll, conducted by IPSOS for ABP News shows that the growing support for AAP comes almost entirely at the expense of the Congress, which is likely to be completely marginalised in both the assembly and LS elections. On whether there should be a re-poll, the verdict was overwhelming with 84.8% saying there should be.
According to the survey, while 49.1% of respondents felt the AAP decision on quitting government was right, 48.9% felt it was wrong. Despite the even split on this question, 67.1% said they would vote for the party if re-polls were held now, compared to 23.1% for BJP and a mere 6.5% for Congress. In the elections held in December, BJP had won 33.1%, AAP 29.5% and Congress 24.5%. If what the ABP News survey predicts is right, AAP will eat into both Congress and BJP votes, but much more into Congress than BJP.
As for the Lok Sabha polls, 55.6% said they would vote for AAP, 34.1% picked BJP and 6.7% chose Congress. The somewhat more even contest between AAP and BJP in the LS polls could be partly due to a 'Modi wave' and partly because AAP is still not seen as a major national player.
The support for AAP is explained by the response to a question on whether its government lived up to the promises it had made. Almost two-thirds (62%) said it had and less than a third (31.9%) felt it had not.

Now we should think about something. The media is only for politicians and babus. No body care about the people. two three years back milk is 20 rupees kg. but now went up to 40 rs. per kg. They are raising every three month 2 rs/ kg. Do you realise Rs. 2/kg is how much income they are getting every day. All TV channels every ten fifteen minutes flashing ad about Rahul Gandhi and cogress party. How much they are spend daily for Advertise for what purpose. Anybody care about that. You elect the MP and MLA s for your service, they got salaries from your money and how many are thinking about their bosses (public). If you want to meet any these people, you stand in hours in queue like a dogs. Who is care about the people. Crores of rupees spend in government hospitals, all are public money and if you need the treatment from that hospital you go thru somebody. otherwise you cant get any treatment in time. what is the system it is.

Yes & No. Spread wide with meritorious candidates and see what happens ! At the present it is hard to assess the mood of the people ; but if an alternate will not be offered the the result will surely be along conventionally expected lines.
