Describing the Dadri lynching incident as “wrong” and the “result of a misunderstanding”, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said Thursday “Muslims can continue to live in this country, but they will have to give up eating beef” because “the cow is an article of faith here”.
Khattar, who completes one year in office later this month as the head of a BJP government, told The Indian Express in an interview that the cow, the Gita and Saraswati were articles of faith for the majority in the country, and that Muslims would not be violating their religious beliefs by giving up beef.

“Muslim rahein, magar is desh mein beef khaana chhodna hi hoga unko. Yahan ki manyata hai gau (Muslims can continue to live in this country, but they will have to give up eating beef. The cow is an article of faith here),” Khattar said, responding to questions on how he viewed the Dadri incident and whether or not such incidents would communally polarise the country.
An outsider in Haryana politics and a virtual unknown until his emergence in the elections last year, 61-year-old Khattar has had a nearly four-decade association with the RSS.

THOSE OFFERING BEEF TO MUSLIMS AND OTHERS MENTIONED BY LALU PRASAD, MUST HAVE PEEP AT THE FATE AND TORTURE BEING FACED BY HINDUS LIVING IN PAKISTAN. THEY ARE HAVING VERY INSULTING AND TOUGH LIFE. THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A RESPECTFUL LIVING AND THEIR SMALL KIDS ARE LIFTED FOR RAPE AND CONVERSION. THERE POPULATION IS FALLING. A SAMPLE BATCH OF THEM IS ALREADY CAMPING IN RAJISTHAN. This is nothing more to election jumla for Bihar elections. All politicians are same and provoke all of use to infight and themselves will escape from the tight way of leadership. So please do not mind these ill talks and do not have faith in all such ill news. All leaders (politicians) sit together, eat and drink everything they wish alltogether. All the slaughter houses are run by influential persons/relatives of politicians which smuggle animals to other countries. So give up all such news. India being secular nation, both Hindu & Muslim communities must respect feelings of each other religions. Thus killing & eating of both cow and boar should be banned in India. more

here these comments are all in vain since instead of saying "Muslims can continue to live in this country, but they will have to give up eating beef." that should be considered particularly as it's not concerned to particular mob or community .... rather it is to be started by every one who eats beef or meat because respectively this discrimination towards animals are criminal act as ethically ..... both deserve to live equally more
