Instead of lamenting inaction by NA residents can ask their RWA's to install a few plastic dustbins at strategic locations. We have done this successfully in Jal Vayu Vihar. Of course, we can continue to ask the NA for a long term solution. more

Practically administration is proving to be non functional on such issues ? Probably due to over occupation of elected political representatives in solving their IN house problems and financial hunger for winning next election. After all the politics is no more social work but a profession well paid and most of the parents are pushing their kids to maintain continuety of good income. more

It is very true that the Royal Enfield Bullet motor cycle I becoming a major source of Noise pollution. This is particularly irritating when these monsters are driven through our residential colonies at night disturbing little infants and senior citizens. Some action must be taken immediately so that this is stopped from becoming a menace. more

Reduce pollution? Yes but understand the real reasons. Public is choosing wrong priorities . Daytime they are seen with mask and in the evening they attend marriage party which is in a tent erected near or on garbage dump. Vehicles creating pollution should be kept off road but it can happen only when corruption goes off. So hate corruption more

Mr. Parasher, I agree with you that you may be maintaining your vehicle nicely and emission is within PUC norm but then decisions are made keeping majority in consideration. I am afraid people like you may suffer but in interest of larger residents such decisions are welcome. Still before a blanket ban, it should progressively starting with commercial diesel vehicles, private diesel vehicles et al. Last but not the least, it is not only de-registration of old vehicle but approach should be holistic with participation by all stake holders. more
