Corruption is a malaise which has spread into our society. We will require revolutionary leaders like Arvind Kejriwal to weed it out. At our level, let us support him in the endeavors of his Party. May be it works. more
Everybody of us currupt some by choice & other by compultion but if you, me any or all of us want to do something about it, then we have to stand up solidly in its way. First step as per my little knowladge is to pledge to ourselves that I will not be its part in any way. Stand up, people will slowly join you, follow you & we will come out winner against this curruption at any lavel. more
Last month, my electric supply 2 phases did not work I listed complaint on call centre for an action to be effected within 1 hour Got SMS pertinent complaint number Call centre called me many times during whole day, whether supply had been reinstated I also, called many times about delay on reinstatement of supplies Line men came, but did not attend for supply from mails was shunted Next day reached, without supply, when it was Sunday I mailed to Ex EN & SDO I called SDO I called JE Neither SDO nor JE responded respective mobiles Ex En responded by reply mail that he had directed SDO to resort to action Noticed that line men were working on transfer Supply had been reinstated efficiently after 24 hours Similarly, one & half year back, we had to face disruption on supplies due to fuse trip on transformer I had lodged about 80 complaints at call centre I had written more than 25 mails up to GM/MD level Transformer had been sanctioned, but later, due to in availability of material, it was not installed I had disputed with JE/SDO/Ex En Then, it was installed near my home & another line was connected to 8 houses But, one has to follow up strongly & in sequence more
Another suggestion I would like to make. Usually it is seen that if there is a transparency in the system, such corrupt practices do not happen. Why not we post the name of the people/officials who perform their duties after being bribed on public domain. Even the officials who demand money could be listed on such public domain alongwith the recordings. more
my suggestion would be to complete all the formailities/documentation mentioned by DHBVN and next time talk to them for your problem with your camera on (recording mode) more
