how can we expect a state which survives in selling liquers, lottery tickets chit funds and earnings of the people gone out of the states, make a clean green state. Kerala was famous for its picquersque scenaries. But today, the state has no production, all the farm lands are being converted as dry lands and the government and the land mafia is taking contracts to sell the agriculture lands. The people of kerala thinks that there are bone as cogress, marxists cpi or Muslim league. They never think about what damage these parties have brought to that state ruling turn by turn. more

Thanks a lot for the comments. Will Narendra Modi government take note of these evil activities of the Central and Statements. more
Mr. Rajappan, See the irony. Liquor, cigarettes, gambling, lottery.... etc , which were always considered as evil for the society, are now the back bone of government funds. Govt. & we in the civil society, need to really devise ways to come out of this pathetic situation. Srivarma Shetty. New Town Yelahanka. more
Sh Rajappan has stated the truth. Not only Kerala almost all the states are facing the same plight. Govts. on one hand promote manufacture and thus the sale of liquors, tobacco products like Cigrettes, Bidis and Gutkas, insecticides , drugs and all sort of harmful plastics and on other hand plead for its non use showing the harmful effects because of its use ( probably a lip service for showing others at international platforms). The market is full of fruits & vegetables and also milk products which have been badly treated by poisonous chemicals unchecked and uncontrolled. Each year Forest Depts in some northern states take pride of record TENDU LEAF production. After all where does it go ? - Dr. B.Prakash more
100% agree with surajit. goondi raj more
I fully endorse your comments. I find only hope is NARENDRA MODI , not BJP as such. All the steps taken so far indicates honest approach to solve problems. To me thats enough. Results will follow. I am sure states like W.Bengal will not co operate and make unwanted noises to keep themselves relevant in Politics. Bengal is passing through worst chaos ever I have witnessed. Administration has collapsed. Goons and corrupts are protected by the Police and administration. They are running the show. Badly we need a change. Election should be held under Millitary Observation and not State Police. SKBhaumick more
