Please join as a member so that ideas generated are utililised by Modi Govt for the benifit of society. Please understand that every senior citizen who has given his best years to the nation, family and society(thru Income Tax contribution and professional experience)needs to be respected by the the country for a respectable social security pension .This will enable him to live a life of dignity and care without depending on relative or children. The amount received through EPF/CPF and gratuity is NOT sufficient to meet the inflation and rising cost. Any senior citizen who retires from a govt psu or private co whose annual income from interest accrued @9% pa does not exceed Rs3.Lakh must be given a fixed pension of Rs 10000/=pm so that he can meet the statutory min living standard in sunset years of his life. Similarly, if a senior citizen is doing a job to meet his end meet needs to be compensated at the time he stops working due to old age by giving him old age pension and gratuity for those years pension is not claimed due to salary bracket more than Rs3L. Alternatively, the total contribution made to income Tax dept from his entire life span could be used to fix his old age pension at a rate of 12%pa.This will encourage every citizen to pay more taxes and earn more pension when he is without job or becomes senior citizen. more
