MCD Delhi area is not included in this declared round of 20 cities, though MCD's list did announce our blks as 14th in the list published on 25.12.15 in major English daily in New Delhi. So what do v suggest? 'People have to b motivated to make an effort to keep surroundings clean' should b constantly nudged to b attuned to have cleanliness around, constant campaigns in all medias: on radio,T V networks, newsdailies(asking free space from News dailies, may b small in sizes), hoardings....etc for sustainable period. Fines may antagonise people, instead a persin of respect in each area may b asked to keep guard/enforcing-cooperation of people to do their best to cleanliness cause, & motivate them by their face to face meeting with people of eminence(actors, actresses,dr.s, Professors,Musicians,Singers, leaders etc- this is just a sugestion, as it may not cost money & people both ways would like to get involved). Well, I am a media person & I can contribute & work at great lengths, pull in voluntory social workers to enhance this cause everywhere in India, I promise, am a lawyer & a block President, woman, professional singer, in a posh area of N D south. more
