The #MeToo movement is picking up momentum in bollywood and media and women are coming out sharing experiences of sexual harassment. A few months back, some of you had raised the issues and solutions to sexual favours being demanded as bribes. Below are the key issues as outlined by you in regards to sexual favours being used as a tool for bribery. 1. This is very rampant in Indian society where high valued sales are at stake
2. Many times escorts are arranged rather than an employee of the firm selling being subject to such bribes
3. Sexual favours are asked from female employees for getting promoted
4. Clients ask for such favours for giving/renewing business
5. Some ministers/senior level Government officials indulge in sexual bribery in exchange for contracts
6. In some cases, such favours are provided during overseas trips of Ministers/Government officials where sex can be purchased and the company becomes the sponsor
7. Such deals are done through most trusted employees and if any one of them raises concern they are either fired or such conditions are created that they leave the company
8. Some people also voluntarily give sexual favours to move up the ladder quickly
9. Sexual favours are asked while interviewing for jobs
10. Sexual favours are used as bribe in judiciary from lady advocates and to get favourable judgments

I agree with the views expressed by Mr. S D Kulkarni. The society by and large has changed a lot that too for bad. Don't think that all the time men only are bad and at fault. When I say society has changed, females have started getting employed in more numbers, they have money with them and parents have given them liberty to live and spend the way they want. Have we not seen many females indulging in alcoholism than ever before? In olden times, say 30 years ago, females were working but never you might have seen such extravagant behaviour which we now see. Now dating apps are very common, you also get SMSs for friendship/relationship. And believe, these are all from females and not from men. Let us not get carried away with the #MeToo movement (conspiracy). For many, it is a matter of choice and way of enjoying life.

If some one (women / girl) who is above 18 should not be given ear for #Me Too inputs as they were mature enough (as per govt. definition) to think of good or bad for them. Many times news appears that xxxx was lured by giving assurance of marriage and raped for three, ---- years. If she was a major one and capable of knowing what was good and otherwise for her, then the act for --- years was with her consent only. How then it can be termed as rape ? in law view point. Raising the issues after many years carries no meaning. At the time of incidence (?) she keeps quite for her self gains and after 10 years says she was -------. Saying so is now becoming a fashion. What does it mean? Deliberate defamation ? Such cases should not be heard in the court of law. Many genuine cases are pending for decades for the justice and need attention. They should be looked in to on priority. Offering sex for some gains is part of bribe today. Tomorrow the same lady may say ----- sexually harassed me. While taking decision her self was involved then after getting the benefit why cry ?

The situation could be both sided, such as, if a women wants a favour from the concerned male member, she herself could make such an offer to succeed. Interestingly, most of the allegations of sexual harassment made in recent days are of 8 to 12 years back and are against those who are/were quite resourceful in their respective fields! What made them (complainants) to keep quite of such incidents at the material times? Were they afraid of conflict of interests?

This is a form of corruption, men pay in cash women are made to pay in kind .
