लोकसभा सचिवालय में एक आरटीआई आवेदन दाखिला कर पूछा गया था कि वर्तमान लोकसभा के ऐसे कौन-कौन से सांसद हैं जो कि स्थायी आवास आवंटित होने के बाद भी सरकारी खर्चे पर ही होटेल में ठहरे हुए हैं।
इसके जवाब में लोकसभा सचिवालय ने बताया कि वर्तमान लोकसभा के 92 सांसद को लोकसभा की हाउस कमिटी ने स्थायी आवास आवंटित किए हैं। ये सभी सांसद अभी होटेल अशोका, सम्राट और जनपथ में ठहरे हुए हैं। ये सभी सांसद पिछले सात महीने से सरकार के खर्चे पर लग्जरी सुविधाओं वाले कमरों में ठहरे हुए हैं।
सांसदों के लग्जरी आवास का किराया 8200 हजार रुपए हर दिन है। इस प्रकार होटेल में ठहरे 92 सांसदों पर सात से आठ लाख रुपए तक रोजाना खर्च हो रहे हैं। यदि इस रकम की गणना पिछले सात महीने से की जाए तो यह रकम करोड़ों में आएगी।
टर्म्स ऐंड कंडिशन से जुड़े एक पत्र से यह पता चलता है कि यदि किसी भी सांसद को लोकसभा हाउस कमिटी द्वारा नियमित आवास का आवंटन पत्र जारी कर दिया जाता है तो उसे आठ दिन में नियमित आवास लेना होता है। more

I don't know where & how the errant MPs are celebrating the advent of 2015? Whether in the luxury hotel rooms, which they are occupying at public cost in an illegal manner, or in their allotted accommodations? But I reckon we AAP supporters are celebrating the New Year in a befitting manner sharing the growing optimism which we feel in respect to the prospects of the Delhi election for our Party. I think a PIL should be filed to recover the amount from the errant MP's by way of deduction from their monthly allowance /pay., just like such excesses are recovered from employees/govt servants through deductions in their pay. The PIL should have a very good chance of Success . These MP's have become so shameless that any amount of criticism/ bad publicity does not bother them as they know other issues will take prominence after some time . Adverse court verdict and penalty imposed by court will at least recover the tax payers money, also they will feel the heat during next elections as this will be on record. more

It is big scam and new corruption. Perhaps our respected PM may not be knowing about such a big scam otherwise he must stop such a dirty trick to control the loot of Govt treasury.
